With Colombian citizenship by birth, a Spanish passport is available after 2 years of residence. It is also an EU passport, but twice as fast as the Portuguese one

Requires only seven days of presence in the first year and allows a citizenship application after five years. FAQ

Can I get a Portugal golden visa through real estate?
No. Since October 2023, property purchases and investments in real estate funds are excluded from the program. Non-real-estate funds, research investment, culture and job creation remain available
How many days a year do I need to spend in Portugal?
Seven days in the first year and fourteen days in each of the following two years. This is the most lenient requirement among European investment programs
Does a remote employee's salary qualify?
Passive income is preferred for the D7. Employment with a foreign employer is covered by a separate D8 digital nomad visa
Do I have to live in Portugal on a D7?
Yes, you must spend at least 183 days a year in the country. The immigration service checks actual presence at renewal
How is the D8 different from the D7?
The D7 is designed for passive income, the D8 for active earnings from remote work. The D8 income threshold is higher, but it is proven with an employment contract
