FAQ

Do I need a visa to visit Colombia?
It depends on your citizenship. Many nationalities, including Russian citizens, enter Colombia without a visa and can stay up to 90 days, extendable to 180 days a year
How can I get Colombian citizenship quickly?
Under the MERONN fast-track program, citizenship, a passport and a Cédula take from 3 months: 2 months of remote preparation and one month in Colombia. Details are on the Colombian citizenship page
Do I have to give up my current citizenship?
No. Colombia allows dual citizenship and does not require you to renounce your current passport
How does a Colombian passport help you get a Spanish one?
Spain shortens the residence requirement for naturalization to 2 years for citizens of Ibero-American countries, including Colombia. After that you can apply for Spanish citizenship
How do I transfer funds to Colombia?
Colombian banks are strict about the origin of funds and do not accept direct transfers from some jurisdictions, such as Russian banks. We design the payment route individually, most often via an account in a third jurisdiction. This is the key question of the deal, and we address it first
